RBI Withdraws Rs 2,000 Notes From Circulation :-The Reserve Bank of India on Friday announced withdrawal of Rs 2,000 currency notes from circulation, and existing notes in circulation can either be deposited in bank accounts or exchanged by September 30.

What is Clean Note Policy :-
The Reserve Bank of India has taken an important decision regarding the largest currency note i.e. 2000 Notes, according to RBI, the 2000 rupee note will remain legal tender but its circulation will be stopped. The Reserve Bank of India has advised various banks of the country that 2000 Notes Ban 2000 rupee notes should be stopped from circulation with immediate effect. By 30 September 2023, people will be able to exchange Rs 2000 notes in any bank. From May 23, notes can be exchanged or deposited in any bank. The special thing is that Rs 20,000 can be exchanged or deposited in the bank at a time. Notes can also be exchanged in 19 branches of RBI.
