जननी सुरक्षा योजना का आरंभ हमारे देश के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के द्वारा किया गया है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत देश की गर्भवती महिलाओं को सरकार द्वारा आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। इस योजना के माध्यम से देश की गर्भवती महिलाओं तथा नवजात शिशुओं की स्थिति में सुधार आएगा। इस योजना का लाभ केवल गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करने वाली महिलाएं ही उठा सकती हैं। वे सभी महिलाएं जो इस योजना का लाभ उठाना चाहती हैं उन्हें आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाकर आवेदन करवाना होगा। जननी सुरक्षा योजना के अंतर्गत सरकार द्वारा गर्भवती महिलाओं को दो श्रेणियों में बांटा गया है। जिसके आधार पर उन्हें सरकार द्वारा वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। यह श्रेणियां कुछ इस प्रकार है:-
- ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की गर्भवती महिलाएं:- जननी सुरक्षा योजना के अंतर्गत वह सभी महिलाएं जो गर्भवती हैं(प्रसव के समय पर) और गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करती हैं उन्हें सरकार द्वारा ₹1400 की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। इसके अलावा आशा सहयोगी को प्रसव प्रोत्साहन के लिए ₹300 प्रदान किए जाएंगे और प्रसव के बाद सेवा प्रदान करने के लिए ₹300 दिए जाएंगे।
- शहरी क्षेत्रों की गर्भवती महिलाएं:- इस योजना के अंतर्गत सभी गर्भवती महिलाओं को प्रसव के समय पर ₹1000 की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। इसके अलावा आशा सहयोगी को प्रसव प्रोत्साहन के लिए ₹200 प्रदान किए जाएंगे और प्रसव के बाद सेवा प्रदान करने के लिए ₹200 प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
जननी सुरक्षा योजना 2023 की विशेषताएं
- JSY सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में लागू की गई है, लेकिन मुख्य लक्ष्य निम्न प्रदर्शन करने वाले राज्यों जैसे बिहार, उड़ीसा, राजस्थान, झारखंड, एमपी, यूपी, जम्मू-कश्मीर, छत्तीसगढ़ आदि का विकास करना है।
- योजना के अंतर्गत पंजीकृत प्रत्येक लाभार्थी के पास एमसीएच कार्ड के साथ-साथ जननी सुरक्षा योजना कार्ड भी होना जरूरी है।
- JSY 2023 एक 100% केंद्र प्रायोजित योजना है और यह नकद सहायता को एकीकृत करता है ।
- इस योजना ने ASHA को मान्यता प्राप्त सामाजिक स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ता के रूप में पहचान की है ।
- जो गर्भवती महिलाये आंगनवाड़ी या आशा के चिकित्सकों की सहायता से घर पर बच्चे को जन्म देती है । इन उम्मीदवारों 500 रुपये की राशि मिलेगी।
- बच्चे की नि:शुल्क डिलीवरी के बाद पांच साल तक जच्चा-बच्चा के टीकाकरण को लेकर उन्हें जानकारी भेजी जाती है और नि:शुल्क टीकाकरण किया जाता है|
- जननी सुरक्षा योजना 2023 के तहत पंजीकरण कराने वाली सभी महिलाओं को कम से कम दो प्रसव-पूर्व जाँच, बिल्कुल मुफ्त दी जाएँगी। इसके अलावा, आशा और आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता भी संबंधित सेवाओं के साथ डिलीवरी के बाद की अवधि में उनकी सहायता की जाएगी ।

When Jani Suraksha Yojana was implemented in Gujarat
As you all know, through Jani Suraksha Yojana, free medicines, food, free treatment etc. are provided to pregnant women. Apart from this free nutrition is provided for 3 days in case of normal delivery and 7 days in case of C-section.
This scheme has now been implemented in Gujarat as well. The PGI administration has issued written orders to implement the scheme on June 23. After which free medical services will be provided to registered pregnant women and newborns up to 1 month after delivery in all institutions.
Under this scheme, regular checkup facility is provided to pregnant women. Besides, all services from delivery till home are free. Newborns are also provided free treatment up to 1 month after birth.
Janani Suraksha Yojana Registration. Public Safety Scheme
Interested beneficiaries of the country who want to get benefits from the government under Jani Suraksha Yojana 2023, pregnant women have to apply under this scheme. If the pregnant women deliver in a government hospital or a recognized private hospital.
Those women can avail the benefits of this Jani Suraksha Yojana 2023. The amount provided by the government will be directly transferred to the bank account of the eligible beneficiary, so it is mandatory for pregnant women to have a bank account and the bank account should be linked with the Aadhaar card.

Jani Suraksha Yojana City Area
1 :- For low performing states, the government will give ₹1000 to women and ₹200 to Asha.
2 :- For high performer status, women will be given ₹600 and Asha ₹200.
